The much awaited ANC UK 2015 kicks off this weekend (Sat 30th of May), with Zimbabwe taking on Sierra Leone in their opening game. The Warriors will then play Senegal on the same day, before facing Morocco and Ethiopia on Sunday the 31st of May. The Warriors have been placed in what has been dubbed the group of death. The two teams finishing top of the group will qualify for the quarter finals to be held on the 6th of June. Last time around, The Warriors showed a lot of character and resilience to reach the Quarter Finals before eventually losing to Sierra Leone in extra time, who were the eventual winners of the tournament.

When asked about Team Zimbabwe's chances, Chairman Liberty Masunda, was upbeat and felt the team was adequately prepared for the challenge ahead. He acknowledged that Team Zimbabwe faces a mammoth task but expressed faith in the squad to give it all they have. "We are aware of the challenge but we feel that we have pulled all the necessary strings. The boys are in Great Spirit and we hope this will be reflected in our performances and hopefully the results as well. If we can come out of this group of death, we have every belief that we can go all the way this time around."
