Thabang Nare
Full Name : Thabang Nare
Position : Head Coach
Nickname : JB

Thabang, aka Jabulani, or JB has always been passionate about football.  He was born into a football family, as his Father was a footballer and Coach. In his early days, his father including the legendary Pele and Maradona, were his football idols. His love of the game was installed in him from a very early age. He played football in both primary and secondary school, and was team captain in both.


The first club he played for was called Harare Central Prison Team. He then went onto play for ZRP Tomlinson, in Division 1, from 1987-1988. From there he moved to Blackpool (Zimbabwe) in the Premier league from (1995-1996). He then went on to playe for Rufaro Rovers, (1996-1997). He eventually went back to ZRP Tomlinson and continued as a player and Assistant Coach.


When he came to the UK, he played for Zimsaints and in 2011, was appointed as a  coach for the Zimbabwe Diaspora Warriors.  At present he is head coach for the team, who are currently playing in the 2014 African Nations Cup battle. He is also working on gaining his coaching badges.  He is really proud to have the honour of coaching such a dedicated team, and is really enjoying the challenge.
